WORKSHOP & PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

“In this torn desert world there is no love because pleasure and desire play the greatest roles, yet without love your daily life has no meaning. And you cannot have love if there is no beauty. There is beauty only when your heart and mind know what love is.” J. Krishnamurti

We assume we love and relate to each other; but do we?

Our workshop will be a straightforward, unpretentious but ruthlessly honest examination of love and relationship as we live it, ordinarily. The more we can see the living reality of ourselves as we actually are – as individuals and as human beings – the more we might see into the deep conditioning that is distorting our love and relating in everyday living.

As we meet, sit together in dialogue and spend time with each other this weekend, we shall be exploring the nature of our topic as we actually live it. We will not be learning how to love and relate better, but rather what prevents it. This is no academic or theoretical discussion of the topic: no attempt to get help or answers from teachers, spiritual masters or facilitators. Here we can be free to learn and see into things for ourselves.

All of this exploration we share together; in friendship, in attentive listening and essentially as the same human being.

Anyone who is drawn, is welcome.
