Is There a New Learning?
What do we mean by “learning”?
Is our perspective of learning already conditioned by education, upbringing and social norms? Our very minds have been deeply shaped by knowledge and memory which is our education, worldwide.
What then is this “learning” that Krishnamurti is talking about? Is it a completely new kind of learning? Can we learn without the use of memory or prior knowledge? How is this even possible?
From the very beginning of our workshop, we will be directly observing and considering what our present conditioned learning looks (and feels) like. Can learning unfold as we are exploring together? Our discoveries will not therefore be based on ideas, but observed as an integral part of the dialogue as a whole.
Does this different kind of learning actually create a difference?
